Lake Duluti is a 'maar'—a shallow volcanic crater—located in Tengeru, just outside Arusha. Despite its modest surface area, its depths are rumored to be vast. The lake is fed entirely by groundwater and seasonal rainfall, maintaining a serene, glassy surface that perfectly reflects the surrounding forest.
The mission involves silent deployment via canoe. Navigating the perimeter allows for high-precision observation of Giant Kingfishers, Fish Eagles, and monitor lizards basking on the fallen trees. The surrounding forest trail offers a tactical 360-degree sweep of the crater rim.
