Watamu National Marine Park is one of Kenya's oldest and most successful conservation zones. The sector is defined by its unique coastline of "Seven Islands" and the Mida Creek—a sprawling mangrove forest that serves as a critical avian and marine nursery.
The mission signature here is diversity. Subsurface recon reveals green turtles and over 600 species of fish, while inland ops take you to the Gedi Ruins—the 13th-century skeleton of a Swahili city that was mysteriously abandoned and reclaimed by the Arabuko Sokoke Forest.
